Stefan Kreitmayer is a PhD student at the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK. He is writing his thesis on how computer simulations can be designed to engage large groups in learning about complex topics. His designs focus on the combination of shareable interfaces and ambient displays. Prior to his academic career Stefan developed interactive and reactive computer graphics for live performances and installations in collaboration with composers, directors, designers, and choreographers. Earlier activities included film music and sound design. Stefan holds a degree in Electroacoustic Music composition from Folkwang University Essen, Germany.
